The Dyer's Companion by Elijah Bemiss

In 1806, Bemiss' the Dyer's Companion first appeared.
Elijah Bemiss wrote this book with recipes for untrained American dyers who at times were required to purchase recipes for twenty to thirty dollars each.

In it you will find recipes for natural dyes for all shades of color.
A final section gives recipes for inks , dyes for feathers, beer, mead, and other curiosities.
