Lapsang Souchong Loose Black Tea, Camelia sinensis
Lapsang Souchong black tea has a smoky aroma and flavor created by the tea being dried over a smoking pine fire .
The resulting smell and taste is that of a campfire.
This tea sometimes gets a bad rep for being brash , but instead it has a sweet, refreshing smoky flavor, crisp and edgy with a sweet pine flavor, and a lightly evaporating finish.
This black tea is from the Fujian province of China.
This is the tea used for the base on our Bonfire Flavored Black Tea.
Note: Processed on equipment that also processes peanuts, tea nuts, soy, and wheat.
