Yarn Gauge, Wooden, Handmade
Yarn gauges are used to calculate ends per inch for weavers and can also be used to gauge the thickness of yarn for spinners, knitters, and crocheters.
To do this, wrap yarn in a flat row in the one inch notch in the yarn gauge, count the number of wraps to give ends per inch.
This yarn gauge has a one inch long notch plus a hole for a ribbon or leather hanger.
