Jacquard Procion MX Dye, Burgundy 124, for Plant Cellulose Fibers
Jacquard Procion MX Dyes are designed to be used on natural plant cellulose fibers in garment dyeing, batik, silkscreen printing, and tie dyeing.
This includes cotton, flax or linen, ramie, hemp, bamboo, and basket fiber, to name a few.
They can be used to produce solid or multicolor effects depending on the application technique.
Procion MX dyes are marketed as cold water dyes, but in reality they use warm tap water.
No additional heating is necessary.
However the dyes are set by using table salt and washing soda, which is sometime referred to as soda ash.
One 2/3 oz. jar is enough to dye approx. 1 pound of dry fabric or fiber, depending on the color brightness desired.
Colors may appear different on other monitors or computers.
We also stock other colors for Jacquard Procion MX Dyes, please check other listings in our store for those colors that are available.
We also stock Washing Soda.
If sent to a Pennsylvania address, Pennsylvania State Sales Tax applies.
