Harp Lucet, Harp Design, Wood

A lucet is a historical tool, from as early as the Vikings and is used to make drawstrings and cords.

Our Harp Lucet. made in our wood shop, is as sturdy as it is delicate looking. In all of the years we have been producing them, we have had only one returned due to breakage from a flaw in the wood.
Instructions for using the lucet can be found in the book - Lucet Braiding, Variations on a Renaissance Cord by Elaine Fuller, also available on our web site.
